Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Experts at TurboTax locations on a seasonal basis. This role involves using tax expertise to help customers navigate their tax needs while fostering community engagement and building long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador representing TurboTax locally
  • Engage new prospects and convert them into long-term clients through outreach
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning
  • Create exceptional customer experiences to foster long-term relationships
  • Interact with customers in-person and via video communication tools
  • Facilitate local events and participate in marketing efforts
  • Build a local and online social presence as a TurboTax associate

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Knowledge of tax laws and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Ability to work a flexible 25-34 hour schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
