Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Experts to join their TurboTax team in a retail setting on a seasonal basis. This role involves providing tax preparation services and advice, engaging with the community to build customer relationships, and empowering clients to achieve positive financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a Tax Expert for customers at TurboTax locations, providing in-person and virtual assistance.
  • Offer tax advice and complete preparation services for simple to complex tax situations.
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients through outreach.
  • Lead local marketing events and make tax topics accessible to the community.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by addressing inquiries and fostering long-term trust.

Required skills

  • Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual tax returns per season
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of 25-34 hours weekly, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
