Overview

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for seasonal roles at TurboTax locations in the U.S. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, aiming to help customers with their tax needs while growing TurboTax's client base locally. The Tax Expert will provide in-person and virtual support, offering tax preparation and advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a Proactive Community Ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing activities.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage client inquiries and help them overcome tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Active EA or CPA credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with tax preparation software and CRM tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow customer portfolio.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
