Overview

Intuit is looking for passionate Tax Experts with CPA or EA credentials to join their TurboTax team in Ridge, New York, on a seasonal basis. The role involves providing tax preparation services, building relationships within the community, and supporting clients through their tax needs while promoting financial prosperity.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador, engaging with local prospects and building client relationships.
  • Provide extensive tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Conduct tax discovery sessions and reviews to optimize deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and address client inquiries effectively.
  • Leverage marketing support and technology to attract and retain clients.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state 1040 returns per season.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM tools.
