Overview

Intuit is seeking seasonal Tax Experts to join their TurboTax team in Irving, Texas. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, aiming to help customers navigate their tax needs while building long-term relationships within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax
  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest
  • Address client inquiries and help them overcome tax-related challenges

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
  • Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Familiar with Circular 230
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings and weekends
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
