Overview

Intuit is looking for passionate Tax Consultants to join their team as Tax Experts - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role involves working closely with clients to provide tax preparation and advisory services, helping customers navigate complex tax situations while building lasting community relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax locally and serve as a community ambassador.
  • Engage with potential clients and convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Lead local marketing events and make taxes accessible to the community.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for diverse client needs.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and address client inquiries professionally.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 1040 tax returns using professional tax software.
  • Understanding of tax laws and Circular 230.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
