Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Associates for their TurboTax locations across the U.S. on a seasonal basis. This role blends tax expertise with community engagement, enabling associates to help customers navigate their tax needs, build long-term relationships, and grow the TurboTax client base in their local area.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Lead local events and marketing initiatives to make taxes approachable.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients.
  • Utilize resources to deliver accurate tax solutions in simple language.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism.
  • Connect with clients to build trust and loyalty.

Required skills

  • Experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Proficiency in professional tax preparation software.
  • Ability to obtain necessary State licenses and an active PTIN.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on client portfolio growth.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and holistic tax advisory services.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Proficient with CRM and sales tools.
