Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates at TurboTax locations on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, where you will help customers navigate their tax needs and foster long-term relationships within the local community while being the public face of TurboTax.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax locally and engage with new prospects.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions and future tax planning.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism.
  • Interact with customers in-person and via video communication tools.
  • Lead local events and marketing initiatives to promote TurboTax.

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Ability to obtain related State licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Availability for a flexible 25-34 hour schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Customer service skills and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology and tax preparation software.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
