Job Description

Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Associates for their TurboTax locations in the U.S. on a seasonal basis. This role involves using tax expertise and community engagement to assist customers with their tax needs while fostering relationships and driving customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing efforts
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Address client inquiries and help them with tax-related challenges

Required skills

  • Experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Ability to obtain necessary state licenses and an active PTIN
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with respect for colleagues
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-driven attitude
