Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates at new TurboTax locations for the seasonal tax period. The role involves providing taxation expertise, community engagement, and customer service to help clients navigate their tax needs effectively while supporting Intuit's mission of powering prosperity.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and nurturing relationships.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and connection with clients.
  • Interact with customers in-person and through video communication tools.
  • Address client inquiries and assist them in overcoming tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns with professional tax preparation software
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Full availability for a flexible part-time schedule (25-34 hours weekly)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
