Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates at TurboTax locations on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, aiming to provide customers with trusted advice and help them navigate their tax needs while also growing TurboTax's client base within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide tax advice and complete preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professionalism.
  • Build long-term trust and relationships with clients.
  • Utilize technology for in-person and virtual client interactions.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Experience with professional tax preparation software
  • Understanding of Circular 230
  • Ability to obtain related State licenses and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in technology, including CRM and sales tools
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
