Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Tax Associate - Retail On-Site at TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. In this position, you will utilize your tax expertise to assist customers with their tax needs while actively engaging with the community to grow TurboTax's client base and foster long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax and engage with new prospects.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences and build long-term client relationships.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and through video communication tools.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and professional tax preparation software.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state licenses and an active PTIN.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to work in a flexible and evolving environment.
  • Proficient with technology including CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
