Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to become Tax Associates in their seasonal TurboTax locations across the United States. This role will involve engaging with customers in the community, providing tax preparation and advice, and building long-term client relationships to enhance financial outcomes while supporting the company's mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients through outreach.
  • Represent TurboTax in the local community and lead marketing events.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and support.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing individual 1040 tax returns using professional software.
  • Ability to obtain State licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
