Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Associates to work seasonally at TurboTax locations in the U.S. This role involves engaging with the local community and assisting customers with their tax needs, providing tailored advice and services to enhance financial outcomes and customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, representing the brand locally.
  • Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for clients.
  • Facilitate tax discovery sessions and reviews for maximizing refunds and minimizing liabilities.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest.
  • Interact with clients both in-person and via Intuit's video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Ability to obtain relevant state licenses, certificates, or bonds and an active PTIN.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Flexible availability for a 25-34 hour weekly schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for growing a customer portfolio.
