Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Associates to join their team at TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role focuses on leveraging tax expertise and community engagement to assist customers with their tax needs while promoting TurboTax's services and building client loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for clients with various tax situations.
  • Conduct tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and via video communication tools.
  • Participate in local marketing and lead events to make tax topics accessible.

Required skills

  • Possession of or ability to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Availability for a flexible 25-34 hour weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
