Overview

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for their TurboTax retail locations, focusing on customer engagement and tax expertise during the seasonal period. In this role, you will work on-site to assist clients with tax preparation, offering personalized services to enhance their financial outcomes while growing TurboTax’s presence in the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador representing TurboTax in local markets.
  • Engage and convert prospects into long-term clients through outreach and local events.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for diverse tax situations.
  • Facilitate tax reviews and discovery sessions to uncover deductions and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and personal connections.
  • Address client inquiries and support them through tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 returns
  • Proficiency in navigating tax laws and professional tax preparation software
  • Availability for flexible work hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
