Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Experts to work at TurboTax retail locations on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs and achieve positive financial outcomes. As a Tax Expert, you will build long-term client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service both in-person and virtually using TurboTax products.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador and representative of TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation and advice for various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and minimize liabilities.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine support.
  • Address client inquiries and help them overcome tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
