Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join as Tax Experts - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations. This seasonal role combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers with their tax needs, fostering positive financial outcomes and driving customer loyalty. Tax Experts will provide services in-person and virtually, focusing on building long-term relationships within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a Proactive Community Ambassador to engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and through video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
