Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Experts - Retail On-Site. This seasonal role involves providing tax expertise, building customer relationships, and supporting the community through engaged outreach and exceptional service at TurboTax locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador and represent TurboTax locally.
  • Engage with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide tax advice and preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate tax discovery sessions and reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually using video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
  • Strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Minimum 3 years experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Availability for flexible 25-34 hour weekly schedule
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
