Overview

Intuit is looking for dedicated Tax Experts - Retail On-Site to join their team in New York for a seasonal role. This position combines tax expertise with community engagement, focusing on bringing in new customers and serving as trusted advisors to help individuals navigate their tax needs. Candidates will work on-site, providing comprehensive tax preparation services and customer support while promoting TurboTax within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with prospects and nurture leads to convert them into long-term clients
  • Represent TurboTax in the local community and lead local marketing efforts
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions and planning opportunities
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in financial goals
  • Interact with clients in-person and via video communication tools
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients

Required skills

  • Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual tax returns per season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and possession of an active PTIN
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
