Overview

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for its TurboTax locations on a seasonal basis. This role focuses on community engagement, customer relationships, and tax service, combining tax expertise with a proactive approach to service clients both in-person and virtually. Tax Experts will serve as trusted advisors and help customers navigate their tax needs, supporting Intuit's mission to foster prosperity.

Key responsibilities

  • Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects and nurture leads to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing efforts.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to optimize deductions and provide tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential.
  • Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for customer portfolio growth.
