Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Experts to join their TurboTax team on a seasonal basis. This role focuses on providing tax expertise and customer service at TurboTax locations, emphasizing community engagement and building long-term client relationships. As a Retail On-Site Tax Expert, you will assist customers with tax preparation, advice, and utilize marketing resources to drive business.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging new prospects and nurturing leads
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for a variety of tax situations
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize tax returns
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine care
  • Interact with customers in-person and via advanced video communication tools
  • Engage in local marketing efforts and coordinate community outreach events

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Proficient in professional tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
  • Adaptability to changing work environments
