Overview

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts - Retail On-Site for seasonal positions at TurboTax locations across the United States. In this role, you will leverage your tax expertise to assist customers with their tax needs, drive client acquisition, and build long-term relationships within the community. You will provide full-service tax return preparation and personalized advice while embodying the TurboTax brand locally.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Represent TurboTax in the local community and lead local events.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services.
  • Facilitate tax discovery sessions and reviews to maximize refunds and provide future planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in customer goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually using TurboTax products.

Required skills

  • Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing over 50 federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services.
