Overview

Intuit is looking for dedicated Tax Experts to join their team on a seasonal basis in new TurboTax locations. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, helping customers navigate their tax needs and fostering long-term relationships within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients, handling various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in client goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and possession of an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Availability for a flexible 25-34 hour weekly schedule, including weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proficient with technology including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
