Overview

Intuit is looking for dedicated Tax Experts - Retail On-Site to join their seasonal team in various TurboTax locations across the United States. This role involves providing tax expertise, engaging with the community, and helping customers navigate their tax needs, all while supporting Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.' Tax Experts will be responsible for client relationship management and providing comprehensive tax preparation services both in-person and virtually.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects and nurture leads to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for a range of tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients.
  • Address client inquiries and help them overcome tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Active CPA, EA, or practicing attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer portfolio growth.
