Overview

Intuit is seeking dedicated Tax Experts to join their team on a seasonal basis at new TurboTax locations across the United States. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, as Tax Experts are responsible for assisting customers in navigating their tax needs and growing TurboTax's client base through exceptional service and relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for both personal and business tax situations.
  • Conduct tax discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions and optimize tax liabilities.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences and build long-term trust with clients.
  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax by participating in local events and marketing initiatives.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and possession of Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
