Low rainfall and deep rocky soils make this an ideal location for growing the highest quality grapes used to make Cave Ridge wines.Overview:We are seeking friendly and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Tasting Room Associate. As a Tasting Room Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and wine education to our guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for wine and hospitality. We are NOT hiring for weekday positions at this time. _ Availability of a minimum of two Saturdays a month required. __ Must be able to lift 35lbs. __ Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time. __ Must provide previous employment references. __ Please do not apply if you do not meet the above requirements. _Duties:- Provide excellent customer service to customers- Pour and be able to explain wines to customers- Restock wines and supplies-Serve and help prepare light food menu to customers-Light cleaning duties-Conduct sales using our point of sale system- Assist with events- Perform other duties as assignedSkills:- Strong customer service skills required xibtplm - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a plus- Experience in wine or hospitality industry is a plus- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment- Must be able to multi-task and work well with others-Must have basic computer skillsJob Type: Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits: Employee discountAbility to Commute: Mount Jackson, VA 22842 (Required)Work Location: In person
