Overview

Diesel Direct is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional for the Tank Maintenance position in Stoughton, MA. This hybrid role combines warehouse operations with fuel handling and operational support, requiring someone who can work efficiently in outdoor environments and handle mechanical tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform daily warehouse operations including fuel containment checks and inventory management
  • Support Equipment and Fleet Operations with administrative and logistics coordination
  • Rebuild tanks and pumps to meet quality standards
  • Load and unload tanks using a ramp truck or flatbed
  • Inspect and maintain containment areas and perform safety inspections
  • Track inventory counts and pull inventory into trucks
  • Confirm safety equipment is in place and properly functioning
  • Provide written and verbal updates on tasks and operations

Required skills

  • Experience with gas and diesel products and hazmat handling
  • CDL B preferred with air brakes endorsement
  • Forklift experience (1+ year)
  • 1+ year experience in outdoor or fuel warehouse operations
  • Mechanical or plumbing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
