Overview

Weichert Co. of Virginia is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support their recruitment efforts in the Capitol region, specifically Maryland and Virginia. This role involves collaborating with leadership and managers to recruit new and experienced Sales Associates while contributing to the overall Talent Acquisition Strategy. Travel within the region is required as part of the responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, and hire potential candidates for the Weichert, Realtors sales office
  • Conduct interviews either independently or with Sales Office Managers
  • Manage office-related staffing functions including compensation negotiation and running market analysis
  • Attend and execute industry events, career fairs, and seminars to attract candidates
  • Build relationships with local real estate schools to promote recruitment
  • Suggest creative recruiting methods to enhance candidate pipeline
  • Utilize company recruiting tools and best practices for candidate introductions
  • Work closely with RVP, Sales Manager, and Career Development Specialist to address recruiting needs
  • Achieve a minimum recruitment goal of 48 new Sales Associates per year

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Minimum 1.5 years recruitment or strong sales/management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Networking and cold calling skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of typical office equipment

What the company offers

  • Estimated base salary range of $70,000 to $85,000
