Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its Advanced Technology Department in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves working within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities to integrate, verify, and validate products while ensuring optimal system performance and reliability for defense initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and improve requirements documentation
  • Lead and support integration and test, design, and system verification
  • Conduct system performance analysis
  • Model the system development and production processes using Cameo
  • Present technical data for design reviews and test preparations
  • Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues
  • Conduct statistical analysis of test data
  • Support mission execution at various locations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • 5 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Integration and Test
  • Coordination skills across multiple disciplines
  • Experience with Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Digital Engineering
  • Customer focus and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of DOORS
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
  • Experience in integration lab or test facility
  • Technical documentation skills such as trade studies and test plans
