Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Effectors Center. This onsite role in Tucson, Arizona, involves designing, developing, testing, and collaborating across various engineering disciplines to create effective solutions for customers while ensuring system integration and performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and improve requirements documentation
  • Lead and support integration and test, and design and system verification
  • Conduct system performance analysis
  • Model the system and development processes using Cameo
  • Present technical data for design reviews and test events
  • Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues
  • Conduct statistical analysis of test data
  • Support mission execution at various locations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience in Systems Engineering and/or Systems Integration and Test
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines
  • Experience with Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Digital Engineering
  • Familiarity with DOORS and technical documentation
  • Understanding of the Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
  • Experience working in an integration lab or test facility
