Job Description

Overview

The System Support Associate at Kelmar is a client-facing role responsible for supporting clients utilizing the KAPS unclaimed property management system. This position involves becoming an expert in the KAPS system, gathering and documenting client requirements, and providing technical support and training.

Key responsibilities

  • Support clients using the KAPS unclaimed property management system
  • Gather and document client-specific requirements and customizations
  • Compose tickets for development and perform acceptance testing
  • Act as the first line of defense for client support requests
  • Communicate updates on open tickets for assigned clients
  • Train end users in the KAPS system and assist with webinars
  • Analyze and recommend process workflows to clients
  • Work with documentation specialists to maintain system documentation
  • Participate in regular virtual meetings and occasional on-site meetings
  • Provide status reports on open requests as required

Required skills

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a system support role
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Comfortable with online meeting platforms (Microsoft Teams)
  • Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as required
