Overview

Acutec Industries LLC is seeking a Swiss CNC Programmer to support the CNC Programming team in enhancing machining processes for Swiss CNC manufacturing operations. This role involves creating programs for Tsugami Swiss CNC machines using customer specifications and collaborating closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on high-precision aerospace and defense components.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop CNC programs for Tsugami Swiss CNC machines
  • Optimize machining processes for efficiency and production yield
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program issues
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams for new product introductions
  • Create and maintain CNC programs and documentation
  • Assist in training and development of machining personnel
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, and throughput

Required skills

  • CNC programming and machine operation experience
  • Knowledge of machining processes and blueprint reading
  • Ability to use basic mathematics
  • Proficiency in CAM applications (e.g., Mastercam, Camworks)
  • Experience with 3-D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks, Catia)
