WeAquatics is seeking a Swim Instructor for their Onelife Tenleytown location in Washington, D.C. This role involves teaching individuals of all ages and abilities how to swim, with a focus on creating confident and safe swimmers through personalized instruction.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead engaging one-on-one and small group lessons
  • Craft personalized development plans for each swimmer

  • Maintain safety protocols while fostering a positive atmosphere
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and their families

Required skills

  • Strong swimming abilities across various techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly and patient teaching style
  • Adaptability to different learning styles and needs
  • Current lifeguard and CPR certifications (preferred)
  • Previous swim instruction experience (helpful but not required)
