WeAquatics is seeking a Swim Instructor for the Onelife Rockville location, focusing on providing high-quality swim instruction for individuals of all ages and abilities. The role involves creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment while cultivating confidence in swimmers through personalized lesson plans.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead engaging one-on-one and small group lessons
  • Craft personalized development plans for each swimmer
  • Create fun and energetic learning environments
  • Provide encouraging feedback that builds skills and confidence
  • Maintain safety protocols while fostering a positive atmosphere
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and their families

Required skills

  • Strong swimming abilities across various techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly and patient teaching style
  • Adaptability to different learning styles and needs
  • Current lifeguard/CPR certifications (preferred)
  • Genuine enthusiasm for water safety and teaching
  • Previous swim instruction experience (helpful but not required)
