Overview

WeAquatics is seeking a Swim Instructor for their Onelife Rockville location, where you will turn your passion for swimming into a rewarding career. In this role, you will work with swimmers of all ages and abilities, helping them to develop confidence and safety in the water through personalized instruction and engaging lessons.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead engaging one-on-one and small group lessons
  • Craft personalized development plans for each swimmer
  • Create fun and energetic learning environments
  • Provide encouraging feedback to build skills and confidence
  • Maintain safety protocols while fostering a positive atmosphere
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and their families

Required skills

  • Strong swimming abilities across various techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly and patient teaching style
  • Adaptability to different learning styles and needs
  • Current lifeguard and CPR certifications (preferred)
  • Genuine enthusiasm for water safety and teaching
  • Previous swim instruction experience (helpful but not required)
