Overview

Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a Swim Instructor/Life Guard to provide swim lessons to children of all skill levels and ensure their safety during sessions. The role requires effective communication with participants and guardians, along with meticulous planning and implementation of lessons tailored to various abilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Instruct and evaluate students in swim lessons, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Plan and implement swim lessons for preschool to school-age children.
  • Promote positive guest relations with class participants and parents/legal guardians.
  • Keep attendance and record total participants in Tally Sheet binder.
  • Collaborate with aquatics staff to optimize teaching strategies and behavior management.
  • Administer safety standards and recommend solutions for safety improvements.
  • Maintain and improve knowledge in swimming and instructional techniques.
  • Ensure effective operation of the Aquatic Fitness Program by notifying for repairs and managing supplies.

Required skills
