Overview

SafeSplash Swim Schools is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors in Mc Kinney, Texas to deliver high-quality swimming instruction using their established curriculum. The role involves teaching students of all ages in a fun, positive, and safe environment while focusing on water safety and skill development.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach swimming skills according to the SafeSplash Swim School curriculum
  • Provide continuous feedback to students and parents on progress
  • Structure class time to maximize learning and skill development
  • Track and document students' skill progression daily
  • Conduct monthly 'Splash n' Tell' sessions for individualized feedback
  • Ensure swimmer safety by following established safety guidelines
  • Maintain class organization and efficient use of lesson time
  • Report safety concerns to management promptly
  • Communicate class updates and student progress to management

Required skills

  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
  • Completion of SafeSplash curriculum training within 30 days
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in and around water
  • Comfortable working with children
  • Prior swim experience preferred
