Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum Vascular Surgery physician to provide ongoing coverage in Paducah, Kentucky, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. The role involves hospital-based vascular surgery with 24-hour call coverage, working with both adult and geriatric patients, and requires a variety of surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide vascular surgery coverage for 7 to 14 days per month
  • Handle 24-hour call coverage responsibilities
  • Perform procedures such as aneurysm repairs, arterial and peripheral bypasses, and endovascular procedures
  • Collaborate with the on-call vascular team Thursday through Sunday
  • Utilize facility resources including operating rooms and interventional radiology suite

Required skills

  • Board certified or truly board eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Active Kentucky medical license (IMLC accepted)
  • Experience with vascular access devices, AV shunts, and deep vein occlusion reconstruction
  • Flu vaccination and preferred COVID vaccination
