Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Vascular Surgeon in Buffalo, NY. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and a focus on wound management with no night, weekend, or call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Maintain clinical documentation in real-time during clinical rounds using proprietary EMR
  • Provide modern wound management at the bedside
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in wound care management
  • Strong knowledge of surgery and clinical documentation
  • Ability to work in a mobile healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
