Overview

The Lexington Health Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their cardiovascular program, which is recognized for its high standards of care. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all cardiothoracic procedures and possess a commitment to patient care, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all routine cardiothoracic procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and robotic lobectomies
  • Participate in call rotation on a 1 in 3 basis
  • Support the lung cancer screening program and perform lobectomies
  • Collaborate with cardiologists in the Structural Heart Program
  • Engage in ongoing clinical trials and patient support initiatives

Required skills

  • BC/BE in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Expertise in robotic and minimally invasive surgery
  • Strong patient care abilities
  • Experience in clinical trials and team collaboration
