Overview

VISTA Staffing Solutions is looking for a Neurological Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves inpatient care with a schedule of day shifts and includes surgical assistance, patient rounding, and clinical documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide surgical assistance and inpatient care
  • Conduct existing patient rounding and surgical site checks
  • Manage drains and ICP monitors
  • Prepare ICU daily notes
  • Perform laminectomy, fusions, craniotomy, thrombectomy, and burr hole procedures

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • BLS certification
  • Experience in neurosurgery and surgical assistance
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and healthcare staffing
