National Staffing Solutions is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join their team in Monterey, California. The role involves working closely with a surgeon and requires a commitment to both outpatient and inpatient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide surgical assistance in neurosurgery
  • Manage patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Coordinate clinical operations and EMR usage
  • Perform special procedures such as drain removal and wound care
  • See an average of 15-20 patients per day in clinic

Required skills

  • Master's in PA Studies
  • CA DEA License
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in neurosurgery
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient care in neurosurgery
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Epic
