Overview

Lyle Health is seeking a dedicated Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their growing neurosurgery program in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. This full-time position offers a unique mentorship opportunity with a prominent Vascular Neurosurgeon and focuses on professional growth with a structured path from outpatient care to potential operating room responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of complex vascular and spinal conditions
  • Perform procedures such as kyphoplasty and minimally invasive endovascular techniques
  • Manage cerebrovascular issues like aneurysms and stroke
  • Provide comprehensive operative and non-operative spine management

Required skills

  • Current Pennsylvania PA or NP License
  • Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) or Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
  • Experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Critical Care, or Trauma is preferred
  • DEA License or eligibility to obtain
