Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon to provide 24-hour primary call coverage at a Level I Trauma Center starting in March 2026. This full-time position requires proficiency in general neurosurgery, trauma, and spine procedures to support continuous call needs due to provider vacancies.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour primary neurosurgery call coverage
  • Manage trauma, spine, and general neurosurgery cases
  • Provide ICU management for severely traumatic brain injury patients
  • Participate in patient rounding
  • Perform required neurosurgical procedures

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
  • Active Colorado License or IMLC
  • Level I Trauma Center experience within the past year
  • Experience with placement of external ventricular drains and monitoring bolts
  • Craniectomy and craniotomy proficiency
  • Spine surgery experience
  • Epic EMR familiarity
  • Active ACLS and BLS certifications (preferred)
  • Active DEA (transferable)
