A leading New York City hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant to join its employed surgical team in East Meadow, New York. This role involves supporting complex cardiothoracic procedures in a collaborative hospital setting and offers opportunities for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in inpatient, surgical, and outpatient care
  • Perform diagnosis and order medications/diagnostics
  • Implement therapeutic measures
  • Serve as First Assist in the OR
  • Vessel harvesting experience preferred
  • Work a schedule of 3-12.5 hours per week

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC)
  • At least 1 year of OR provider or similar experience
  • Ideal experience in cardiothoracic surgery
  • New York state license required
