WhiteCap Search is seeking a General Physician Assistant specialized in Cardiothoracic Surgery for a leading hospital in East Meadow, New York. This permanent role involves supporting complex cardiothoracic procedures in a collaborative, high-acuity environment, offering competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in inpatient, surgical, and outpatient care
  • Perform diagnosis and order medications/diagnostics
  • Implement therapeutic measures
  • Serve as First Assist in the operating room
  • Participate in vessel harvesting as needed

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC)
  • At least 1 year of OR provider or similar experience
  • Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
  • New York state license required
