Overview

Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced vascular surgery nurse practitioner or physician assistant for a busy vascular surgery department in Daytona Beach, FL. This role involves providing perioperative care, assisting in complex surgeries, and collaborating closely with a dedicated team of surgeons and PAs.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in all vascular surgical cases as Surgical First Assistant
  • Perform daily hospital rounds and manage admissions, discharges, and consults
  • Provide perioperative care to vascular surgery patients in ICU and surgical floor settings
  • Collaborate with surgeons and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Act as a liaison between surgeons, consultants, hospital staff, and patients
