Job Description

Overview

VISTA Staffing Solutions is looking for an Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join a physician-owned private practice in Montgomery, Alabama. This multi-specialty orthopedic group features Centers of Excellence in spine, upper and lower extremities, and total joint replacement, and offers a collaborative environment with over 90 providers across 30 clinics.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide trauma consults in the emergency department
  • Assist in surgical procedures as a Surgical First Assistant
  • Cover inpatient responsibilities one weekend per month
  • Participate in on-call duties up to five nights per month

Required skills

  • 1+ year experience in orthopaedics preferred
  • First Assist or OR experience preferred
  • Master's degree from accredited PA or NP program
  • Surgical First Assist certification required or ability to obtain within one year
  • NCCPA or NP Board Certification
  • BLS certification
  • Current state licensure upon start and DEA licensure
