Job Description

Overview

Join a growing Orthopedics team as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Brattleboro, Vermont. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced orthopedic surgeons in both clinical and surgical settings while providing comprehensive care for musculoskeletal conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
  • Develop treatment plans under physician supervision
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic and imaging studies
  • Assist during orthopedic surgical procedures
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative follow-up care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
  • Support accurate and timely medical record documentation
  • Participate in rotational call coverage as assigned

Required skills

  • Active Physician Assistant (PA) licensure/certification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Experience in orthopedic and/or surgical settings (preferred)
  • Familiarity with orthopedic procedures and office-based interventions
