Overview

GO Staffing is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant for a Cardiothoracic Surgery opportunity in New Jersey. This locums position requires starting as soon as possible and involves working in an inpatient setting with a schedule of Monday through Friday, including night and weekend call.

Key responsibilities

  • First assist in the operating room
  • Perform chest tube placements
  • Conduct endoscopic vein harvesting
  • Provide patient care and collaboration within the surgical team
  • Handle night and weekend call responsibilities

Required skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Active NJ license
  • NCCPA certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
